Showing off a couple of Caterhams...

The first few months of 2010 saw the beginning of a new show held at Windsor Race Course, titled the "British Leisure Show".

I was able to come along & have a good look around this awesome new show, as my bros company Mark On Europe was exhibiting from Friday, till Sunday.

On their stand they had, a pretty tasty luxury motorhomes, their very own 175 Roadsport Caterham 7, and the star of their stand... was the Caterham R500, as driven by the stig on BBCs Top Gear!

One of the things I absolutely love about Caterham is their attitude towards shows and things like this, you ask them for support and they throw you the keys to the most famous Caterham 7 out there!

Absolutely amazing car, I only moved it around the stand for them, but oh wow... what an incredible car.

So anyway each day at 1 o clock, the show organisers had a super car sound off... yep thats right... all the big boy cars turned on the engines and revved up the cars for a few minutes, waking up the crowd and most likely the surrounding area!

The Caterham stole the show as far as I'm concerned and most of the surrounding stands to Mark On Europe, here is a video of the R500 firing up on the Satuday and showing Windsor Race Course why its so special!

Hehe talk about loud huh ;-) I love the noises and pops and bangs it makes.

During the show I had a brilliant time, and met up with many other very interesting exhibitors, especially all the rental sports car companies, cool concept that.

Was great to see the general public taking such an active interest in all the stands as well, even though the weather wasn't great during the show.

Will hopefully get to go and check it out next year, should be even bigger and better!

Oh and here is a bit of info about the British Leisure show, as provided by the official website:

For three days visitors were treated to an active, visual feast including swooping Birds of Prey, impressive Big Air Mountain Boarding, stunning kite displays and adrenaline fueled land yachting.

On show were a sumptuous array of exhibitors showcasing exciting ways to get on the water with canoes, powerboats and sailing boats, a wide range of holiday homes, motorhomes, caravans and enticing holiday destinations, lots of clothing and accessories, exhilerating extreme sports such as quad biking and bungee jumping and if that's not enough...there were motorbike rides and over four million pounds worth of supercars to drool over!
